BEHRINGER and Infinium Partner up on Patented DJ Fader Technology

PLASA London, 9 September 2007, BEHRINGER and Infinium Technologies
have signed a deal to use Infinium’s patented contact-free fader
technology in future BEHRINGER DJ products.

Infinium and BEHRINGER have been co-developing a new 45mm
optical and contact-free fader which meets the highest demands in terms
of quality, feel and especially longevity. The new fader will be used
in a series of state-of-the-art BEHRINGER DJ mixers scheduled for
release in the first quarter of 2008.

Uli Behringer, Chairman and R&D Director commented, “We
are very excited to cooperate with Infinium, as we believe we have
found the perfect technology to match our new high-end DJ mixers. A
‘wear and tear-free’ fader is crucial for DJs and adds tremendous value
to our products.”

René Moolenaar, Business Development Director of Infinium
Technologies noted, “This partnership is another important milestone in
the company’s history, proving that our technology can stretch from
high-end to mass market applications. Infinium is delighted to work
with BEHRINGER on this prestigious project, because we are impressed
with their ability to bring high-quality products to market at
reasonable prices. We believe that BEHRINGER’s DJ products are leading
the field and we’re excited to be part of their new DJ roadmap.”
